During the discovery ideation phase, I do a detailed competitor study, ideate rapidly using paper wireframes, and collect as many problems from user interviews and captured data πΆmetrics as possible.
During research interviews, the engineering team gets looped into the process and invited to attend all sessions that help me to gather dev feedback/insights.
After prototyping, I usually collaborate with engineers to do a feasibility check on the solution-designed and product managers to understand if this is something they think can work with the existing product and scope of work/roadmap. Product Managers are also communicated about the feasibility checks and estimations that were provided by the engineering teams.
Finale deliverable artifacts consist of research documentation, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma/Sketch files with slices turned on for exporting.
